Open Maintenance Position: The City of Hill City is accepting applications for a proactive, motivated Maintenance Worker.

 

This full-time, benefit-eligible position includes health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits. Starting wage is $19.00/hour. Closing date: Open until filled. EOE.

Maintenance Position: The City of Hill City is accepting applications from motivated, high-energy individuals for the opportunity to join the public works team. The team collaborates to provide Hill City with safe and clean drinking water, functional sanitary sewer services, and well-maintained streets. Public works staff responsibilities include building, vehicle, and equipment upkeep; repair, maintenance, and quality control of the city’s infrastructure; and support for city-wide events. Benefits include retirement, health, life, vision, dental insurance, and paid time off. Training and education related to the city’s water and wastewater systems are also provided. Previous experience in construction, mechanical maintenance, engineering, HVAC, or heavy equipment operation is preferred. Wages are determined based on experience.
